Trade Register 21 July 1978 · Business ID 0226379-5
Professional accounting, bookkeeping and strategic tax consultancy.
Established in Alavus, Finland in 1978. For over 48 years we have kept Finnish companies’ books accurate, their filings on time and their management reporting honest — bookkeeping, VAT and corporate tax compliance, payroll, financial statements, and the advisory work that follows from actually knowing the numbers.

Standing disclosures
- Alavuden Kiinteistö- ja Tilitoimisto Oy is a private accounting firm. It is not the Finnish Tax Administration, not the Finnish Patent and Registration Office, and not any other public authority, and it is not acting on behalf of one.
- We do not offer loans, credit, debt collection, debt settlement, debt write-off, insolvency arrangements or investment services, and we do not act as an intermediary for anyone who does.
- Nothing on this site is a promise about the outcome of a tax assessment, an audit or a business decision. Statutory filings depend on facts and on the authorities, and no adviser controls either.
Registered line of business 69201: Accounting and bookkeeping activities; tax consultancy. We are not a firm of authorised auditors (HT or KHT) and we do not perform statutory audits. Where an audit is required we prepare the material and work alongside the auditor you appoint.
What we do
Everything a Finnish company has to get right, handled in one place
Registered line of business 69201: Accounting and bookkeeping activities; tax consultancy. Below is what that means in practice — described by what is handed over, not by what it is called.
Scope estimator
How much accounting work is your company, really?
Six answers, and the panel works out the recurring monthly workload, which service level that implies, and every statutory filing your situation triggers — with the deadline the Tax Administration actually publishes for each one.
Invoices in, invoices out, and bank events.
Estimated recurring workload
Typically between 10.8 and 15.2 hours, averaged over the year so the year-end is spread rather than spiking.
Service level
Managed
A full monthly cycle with payroll and reporting, a fixed close date each period, and scheduled review points through the year.
Filings your answers trigger
VAT return and payment
12th of the second month — VAT return and payment, monthly tax period. Finnish Tax Administration (Verohallinto), read 26 August 2026.
Incomes Register earnings payment report
5 days after payday — Incomes Register — earnings payment report. Finnish Tax Administration (Verohallinto), read 26 August 2026.
Employer separate report
5th of the following month — Incomes Register — employer's separate report. Finnish Tax Administration (Verohallinto), read 26 August 2026.
Employer contribution payment
12th of the month — Employer contributions — payment. Finnish Tax Administration (Verohallinto), read 26 August 2026.
Income tax return for the company
20% — Corporate income tax rate. Finnish Tax Administration (Verohallinto), read 26 August 2026.
Financial statements and Trade Register filing
Once per accounting period.
What drives it
- Payroll is deadline-driven: the earnings payment report follows every payday.
This is not a price, and it is not a quote. This is an indication of scope and workload only. It is not a price, not a quote and not an offer, and it is not accounting or tax advice. The figures it uses about your company are the ones you typed. A real engagement is scoped from your actual ledger and set out in a written agreement. We do not publish fees for accounting work anywhere on this site, because the honest figure depends on the state of a ledger nobody has looked at yet — and a number produced by six dropdowns is not a number anyone can stand behind.
Whether your company needs a statutory audit is settled by the Auditing Act (Tilintarkastuslaki 1141/2015), not by this estimator. We are registered for accounting and tax consultancy, not for statutory audit, so we confirm the position with you and work alongside an authorised auditor where one is required.
Current Finnish figures
The numbers we work to, with the date each one was last checked
Statutory rates and deadlines change, and an accounting firm publishing a stale one has a credibility problem rather than a typo. Every figure below links to the Tax Administration page it came from and carries the date it was last read.
25.5%
General VAT rate
Applies to most goods and services. The Tax Administration lists accounting services explicitly among the examples taxed at the general rate.
Finnish Tax Administration (Verohallinto), read 26 August 2026.
€20,000
Small-business VAT threshold
A company does not have to register for VAT if its turnover is no more than €20,000 in both the current and the preceding calendar year. The threshold is measured per calendar year, not per accounting period.
Finnish Tax Administration (Verohallinto), read 26 August 2026.
20%
Corporate income tax rate
The income tax rate of 20% applies to the profits of limited liability companies, cooperative societies and other corporate entities. A corporate entity is an independent taxpayer; the tax is not carried through to shareholders.
Finnish Tax Administration (Verohallinto), read 26 August 2026.
5 days after payday
Incomes Register — earnings payment report
Amounts withheld must be reported to the Incomes Register within 5 days of the payday or other date of payment. The deadline does not depend on the length of the tax period. If it falls on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday the data can be reported on the next business day.
Finnish Tax Administration (Verohallinto), read 26 August 2026.
These figures are published as general information about Finnish law, not as advice about your company. What applies to you depends on facts we have not seen yet.

Two dates in 1978, and they are not the same thing. Alavuden Kiinteistö- ja Tilitoimisto Oy was entered in the Trade Register on 21 July 1978, and the Business ID 0226379-5 was issued on 11 November 1978. The Tax Administration also records the company in the employer register from 1 October 1978. Public register data holds no bankruptcy, restructuring, liquidation or deletion notice for the company.
A second registered name. The register also records the auxiliary company name Tuvan Isännöinti, entered on 18 February 2022. It is disclosed here because anyone checking the register will see it and should not have to wonder what it is. The registered main line of business remains 69201, accounting and bookkeeping activities; tax consultancy.
How an engagement starts
No package names, no onboarding funnel, no price before the ledger
Three steps, and the first one is us doing work before you have committed to anything.
We look at what you actually have
Before anything is quoted or promised, we go through the current ledger, the last set of financial statements and the filings on record. Half of what makes an engagement expensive is invisible until someone opens the books.
The scope is written down
What we do, what you do, when each thing happens and who to call. A written engagement agreement, not a package name. Anything outside it is agreed separately before it is started.
The cycle runs on dates, not reminders
Every period has a close date, every filing has a statutory deadline, and both are in the calendar from day one. You hear from us before a deadline, not after it.
Claims policy
Things you will not find on this website
An accounting firm's website is judged on what it refuses to claim as much as on what it offers. Here is what we have deliberately left out, and why.
- No prices, rates or packagesAccounting work is scoped from a real ledger. A figure on a web page would be a commitment nobody has made and a comparison nobody can hold us to.
- No client names, logos or case studiesClient confidentiality is the point of the job. Where a firm does publish references, each one needs written permission and figures the client can substantiate — we have neither, so there are none.
- No savings, refunds or outcomes promisedA tax outcome depends on the facts and on the Tax Administration. Any adviser promising a result in advance is describing something they do not control.
- No audit services, and no auditor titlesThe registered line of business is accounting and tax consultancy. We prepare for audits and work with the auditor you appoint; we do not perform them and do not describe ourselves as auditors.
- No credit, debt or investment productsWe do not offer loans, debt settlement, insolvency arrangements or investments, and we do not introduce you to anyone who does.
This is a standing policy, not a placeholder. If references are published later they will name the client, carry that client’s written permission, and state figures the client can evidence.
Straight answers
Questions people ask before they get in touch

In practice that means continuous bookkeeping, VAT and corporate income tax compliance, payroll and Incomes Register reporting, year-end financial statements, business advisory, and bookkeeping for housing companies.

- No. This firm does not offer credit, loans, debt collection, debt write-off, insolvency arrangements or investment services, and does not act as an intermediary for anyone who does.
- Where is the company located?
